What are u mods even doing here, closing or even deleting active threads (cause you personally disagree with them?).
You're supposed to help this forum run smoothly, not mess it up.
Be objective, that's what mods are supposed to do.
Seriously what criteria do you guys/girls use for deleting or closing topics?

I have come to the conclusion that many mods here are lazy.

Instead of actively modding (some of them do) they take the lazy way out and close threads prematurely.

It's really evident in the Chit-Chat forums. The Server forums with a high number of closed threads correlate very closely with crappy moderation.

I've been warned because I restarted a thread that was closed. I was given no explanation why it was closed and there didn't seem to be a reason for it to be closed. In my second thread, I asked Why it was closed. Guess what I got? A warning with no explanation. What the F?

When I questioned the decision via PM, it was because the "moderator" was afraid it was going to get into a flame war.

That's crappy. Can't share information in forums cause the "moderator" is AFRAID it will become a flame war. Childish. Reflects poorly on the moderation and is, in my mind, an insult to the good moderators (like Sunshine).

We also close threads if there are already a million and 1 threads with the same topic (though sometimes I merge)
We also close if it is just another whining thread (we have heard it all)
We also close if a thread is re-opened after being closed. And yes that will get you a warning/infraction. If you have a problem with the decision made, discuss it with one of the mods.
We also close if there is a stickied thread you should be using.
We close if it isnt CO related. Use Off Topic for that.
We close if it is 1 specific server related, go use that chat.
We close if it is just another Mods suck thread, we have heard it all before.
We close if the person has made several threads on the same topic in several sections.
