Your Starting Money
Ok when you start out on a Server and your basically broke, you shouldnt worry. Try not to focus on tthis aspect of the game first. But, before you start marketing you need some money. Dont go out of your way to find a way to make money. Just keep leveling and eventually you will find something of some value, whether sooner or later. Now once you find something to sell it would be a good time to make a whole other character for marketing.

*Note*: Choose a name that is funny or people will remember.Hopefully not for a bad reason.

Learn the Prices Of Your Market
Before you sell your item of value you should walk around the market to find an average price for your item. If you get an item that no one else has, try to ask an experienced friend or guild member to help you figure out its price. Dont ask a random person because some people arent trustworthy(Not saying all people are) and may scam you for your item. Once you figure out the average price of the item, sell it for exactly that much. You wont want to sell it for even a little cheaper then it is worth because you will need the Biggest amount of money possible to start.
Once you sell that item start scanning the market for the average prices of ALL different types of items. If you see a cheap item that you can afford then buy it and re-sell it for a bit higher price. Becareful at this point because it can make you or keep you poor. If you do not make the correct choice then you will have to re-sell that item and you may end up even poorer then before.

Always Keep Backup Money
Once you learn to buy and re-sell items (I cannot tell you which items to buy and re-sell considering all servers are different and have different price ranges). Once you have a bit of money you may start buying dragonballs. But do not spend ur first *however much a DB is worth on your server* on a dragonball. Make sure you always hav atleast the amount of cash a db is worth in gold just incase you find a good deal that cant be past up.

Profiting Off Others Mistakes
Two things to help you get money ALOT faster is to look for quick-sellers or "mistakes".
An example of a quick-seller would be: DB's are worth 30kk. You find someone selling a DB for 25kk or possibly even 20kk. You always want to have a bit of cash just for these rare occasions so thats why i said dont go and spend all your money on DB's right away.An exaple of a "mistake would be: Someone in a stall is trying to sell a DB again for 30kk. Luckily if you may find some people might forget an extra zero at the end of their item so they end up selling it for 3kk and it is good to take advantage of that so you can profit tons these ways. Dont go out of your way to look for these people. Let them stumble upon you.

Marketing Better Items
Once you get into the richer marketing such as socket marketing or some other valuable items such as super items, you will notice that people will mostly only want to trade their socs or supers for DB's or money. "Use the money and DRAGONBALLS you buy with Conquer Money to make strategic trade. I say this because now when players sell sockets they strictly want cash or DBs. The trick is to always be the guy who has the cash and DBs AND to always be the guy who will trade his sockets away for WHATEVER as long as the items can be resold .for MORE than what you originally paid for the socket."-TrojanFury

Where to Find Deals
Another good place to find items is to sit around in the market near the warehouseman or sometimes but rarely in TC. A bunch of people like to broadcast what they are selling instead of putting it in a stall. Many quicksellers do this so always keep an eye out for these people.
Something which can help you sell your valuable items is the Message board. It helps in many ways but especially when trying to sell things. The whole server may see what you are selling so everybody wh is interested will whisper you. An alternative to this is a broadcast message. It is preferable not do use the broadcast message because it costs cps(obtained through other players or trading DB's for 215 cps or even trading pent ammys/lifefruitbaskets/disguise ammys for 15 cps each to CollectorZhao.)Learn to use these well to tell the whole server what you are selling.Try not to make your message too long.

*Note:I believe the minimum req. lvl for the message boards is lvl 15-20.I am not sure on the Broadcast message as i have never used it.

Free Money
There are also other ways to make money such as doing quests in game. Not many are profitable but some may be. The quests most people do are either the Blue Mouse or MoonBox quests. I personally dont find profit from these but this might just be me. The MoonBox quest is very time consuming and takes a higher lvl player to do with ease( probably around 120+ to breeze through). The Blue mouse gives you what i find to be a slow but yet steady income (I would suggest doing this when u first start out with a tiny bit of money).

Cycle Selling
"One other thing to consider is cycle selling. Here's a basic example of cycle selling marketing strategy (using Ryee prices).

Start with 9kk.
Buy 6 moongems. (Prices vary from 1-1.5kk depending). Turn gems into 30 meteors doing blue mouse.Sell the scrolls for 20 cps each. After they sell you now have 60 cps. Buy 2 exp balls from npc for 27 cps each.
Sell exp balls for 7.5kk each.Final result.
If you bought the gems for an average of 6kk, you now have 9kk and 6cps in profit.
If you bought the gems for an average of 9kk, you now have 6kk and 6 cps in profit.

Repeat." - Red or Green

Socket spamming and Lotto
Another few ways is one u get moderately rich is to either met spam for socs or try your hand at the lotto. These are very risky and could leave you dirt broke. But it could also leave you swimming in piles of DB's/Gold.Whichever u prefer . I would only suggest this once u hav a bit of money to spare. Dont bet all of your money on these since something bad happens it will be easier to work your way back up. There are many things to be won from the lotto that may help u profit such as a Miraculous Gourd(had to say that because i just won one today) or socs. Remember about these things. DONT BET ALL OF YOUR MONEY ON THEM!!!

Going Afk
When you are marketing and you may go afk (away from keyboard) and so you are not able to take offers every once and a while, you should hawk some thing saying "Afk Whisper Offers" or something similar saying you are afk so your buyers know so.when you go afk if you disconnect or accidentally log off then you will erase all of the offers you got from the people. That is why it is important to record all of your offers. To do so click chat, then chat log and then record. That way if you disconnect or log off on accident all of the offers you get are saved and you can view them at will.

Don't Commit Mistakes

About buying low/selling high trick....too many noobs get stuck with $1kk refined stuff LOL. I see them all the time in market....their inventory doesnt budge for months sometimes.

Thats cuz they are noobs and dont waste 5 minutes seeing the prices of others players, and have no idea of how much "that item" is worth, like some noob trying to sell me uni bs 1 soc for 5kk cause it had a soc...

This is how I make all my money... by being the guy with the DBs/cash to trade, and the one willing to accept random items for things.

people will give you a lot more money in random items than they will in pure cash or DBs.

Yeah we agree on the presentation part. I'm particularly pleased to see that this is still level 1 marketeering. Not all my secrets are revealed.

About the getting items instead of cash, I agree but lately people have only been offering me archer items...they dont sell as well it seems. All the archers that are rich dont care much for the crap and the other ones dont want to pay all that money, they're gonna make their own gear uber anyways.

That's true... there are a lot of really good archers, and a lot of really nooby archers, not many of the ones inbetween.


But knowing that sort of thing all comes down to experience, and is, to a degree, subject to server.



I don't have many "secrets" when it comes to marketing - just common sense, experience and a complete lack of patience which speeds up the whole process.
