Since Himie has been helping everyone out i figured I would ask. And I have 3 computers in my house running Windows7 and 2 of them are running CO just fine with some of the fixes that I mentioned. This 1 computer is being stubborn that's all. I'm guessing its something probably simple that I have over looked.....I hope haha.

I have windows 7 and CO wont play, first it was the patch not working so i manually installed the patch, now when i try to log on my account CO just closes, can anyone tell me how to fix this?

You'll have to reinstall and you can't open the client until after it's been patched to the latest version. If you open it before it's patched, it won't work even if you manually patch.

im runing windows 7 32 bit home premium

I haz Windows 7 Home Premium 64-Bit, after doing the fix on this thread i manage to get to open the client, but as soon as i login the client just crashes.. i think i'll have to wait for the "next" patch that has a fix for people like me =/

I posted a fix for that about 5 times. Uninstall, delete CO folder, reinstall, get rid of anti-virus folder, DO NOT open, manual patch and you're good to go.

Kay.. Well i don't check the forums regularly.. seeing as my post count is low for the length of time i created this account.

I will try what you have just explained to me and get back to you.

P.S Manual patches don't work for W7 64-Bit anyway.

How did I use the manual patch then? I'd say it works just fine with 64-bit. Better than autopatch.

I guess you weren't looking at his FPS... With his graphics card, he should be getting 39-40 FPS consistently.

I was looking at them but its normal in birds, well you do get lower fps in W7 and the ways to make them higher are the same as vista: disable aero and dont use modified exes

you get better FPS than me if i have more than 1 person around my FPS goes down to 10 get more than that it stays on 0-4

I am not running any modified .exes and when I log into CO I lagg ALOT and im running windows 7 ultimate 64 bit with quad core 3.6GHZ i7 and geforce 9800 graphics card =S 1gb GDDR3 ram =S 16 Gigs DDR3 ram =S my pc should be able to run co laggless like 4 or 5 clients (assuming tq didnt limit it to 2) its rediculous that I have 8fps in TC!
