Your bought char can be taken away from you at any time.

The Creator of a sold account can steal it back at anytime, Period! So anyone who has bought a character, you are at risk to have your char stolen from you.

This is an absolutely true statement. The creator of any sold character can get the current password no matter what info has been changed. A method for the creator to always get the current password is available to them on the web site. If anyone buys a character (and is given the ID#, secret question answer) and changes the e-mail address and the password, the creator can still take control of the account at any time he/she wishes.

ON www.conqueronline.com anyone can go to the retrieve password section, enter the logon name of an account, click on forgot email, you will be asked 2 questions...

1) The ID#;
2) The secret question answer.

If they know these answers (the original creator always will) the site will display the current pw in plain text on the web page.

It doesn’t matter if you have changed the e-mail address and the password, because the ID# and secret question answer can never be changed by anyone, ever, and anyone who knows these 2 pieces of info can go to the web page and get your pw in 5 seconds flat.

Now you should know the ID # and secret question answer as well, so you can do the same thing to steal your char back, but, expect to get your char back naked, broke, and black named. There will be no sense buying new equipment because it will just happen again and gain, just delete the char. Its also common for someone to trade a character and claim they dont know the info, this can be because they didnt create the character themselves and that means someone else knows the info, or because they want to steal it back but not give you the info you need to re-steal it back from them. There is a slim chance that they are the creator and simply forgot the info, ironicly this is the best situation for the buyer... if they have bought an account where the seller honestly didnt remeber the info, then the seller can never steal the character back. But how could anyone ever be sure that they are telling the truth?

I am posting this just to warn people, not to encourage others to steal back the chars they have sold.

Well... I guess this kinda devaluates any character being sold or traded.

Not to be rude, but what good are bank passwords, if the original had the secuity info, thats all they need, and they can have GMs recover there warehouse passwords for them. Just don't trade accounts!

when someone wanted my char for his db-codes, i explained to him why he should..

pretty much everything 88~Eagle~88 said about me knowing the ID and secret answer.
