hi this is suggest many times
but i think that co should
1.start to make a new engine
2.update the graphics (more light and shadow and wind effect
or a wheather effect)
3.make co version 2.1 or something

i play this game 2 years and i think that there must be change some things
if they change the graphics then we can enjoy more from the game ^^
and every one has a better pc then 2 years ago ^^ and if some people dont agree why dont u make a option for graphics

like this:
1. option for what it now is
2. option for light shadow wheater etc ^^

This game is five years old, of course it's graphics are outdated. If you want a game that has good graphics, play a more recently released one.

But yeah this is a definite idea to go ahead with as long as there are two options you can even add it just before you log in example

Standard Def/HD Def screen appears (choose option)
Low Quality/High Quality appears (choose option)
Login Screen.

Low quality won't contain any music, weather effects and shadow effects
High Quality will contain the above + more.

Benefits
Low Quality will reduce you're overall lag
High Quality will raise lag a little but you won't notice cause you're enjoying the awesomeness.
