The fifth periodical: Bows has been released. In the earliest Chinese royal dynasties, archery had an important place both in mystic ritual and in war. It was a compulsory subject, together with ritual, music, charioteering, reading and arithmetic, in the schools which trained the Chinese nobility.

This might sound eccentric, but after I tried it, I could never go back to any other position.
HE IS TALKING BOUT HOLDING A BOW STRING YOU PERVERTS.. but im sure ppl from co have actually mastered archery O.o

I am preparing a book on all aspects of Chinese archery to be published next year.

The effect of this combination was that unstrung, the bow would double back into a 'C' shape, as you can see in the illustration above (after Tan Dan-jiong).
no picture was illustrated above.. and the sentence doesn't make any sense as the sentence before should be describing how the bow was bent..

ima gonna try an Google 'Chinese's archery history'.. an i think i may find this somewhere in there.. i used to do this in high school, Google a topic and copy pasted what i find for an assignment.. at least i was smart enough to read thru it an take out anything that would incriminate me..
